At nfm the very far end of the USA in the south you find Florida Keys islands and the town Key West where 25 000 people live. This is also the town where the famous author Ernest Hemingway nfm lived in 1931-1940.
Ernest Hemingway had his own way of writing stories, named the iceberg method. Look at the iceberg below and think of it as a story. If an author knows a lot about the story that is written, nfm he or she doesn’t need to tell the reader everything, things can be left out for the reader to think and refect upon. The things mentioned in the story are on top of the water, the things that the reader reflects upon are below water.
This story is a typical iceberg method story. Read it and discuss in your group what events that are hidden below water and not mentioned in the story. This is also named as a Six Word Story. For sale: baby shoes, never worn.

Assignment Now it is time for you to make your own Six Word Stories and publish them here in the blog. In order to create nfm the stories you and your group need to discuss the story itself and what to put above the iceberg and what is hidden below water. Think carefully what words to use, you only have six. Can you use synonyms? Are some words better than other when it comes to expressing the story?
