Anton’s jury excuse doesn’t explain why the public didn’t vote for him. We suspect it’s because he’s better fitted wardrobes as a dancer than a singer, and that his song simply wasn’t good enough to compete with the likes of Sanna Nielsen and Ace Wilder. I think this is the curse of the second fitted wardrobes comers, they do pretty well one year so they think they can come back the next year and do even better, and it has happened, there you have Loreen and Saade, but the key is coming back with a better song, and in this case, Anton’ song was infinitely better last year, same as Yohio’s, hence their results. That’s also why I’m not sure if I would like Ace to come back next year, it would be a double edge risk, she would need to come back with a great response to Busy doin’ nothing or she might repeat Anton’s story. Anyway, back to Anton, what a sucky attitude, get over yourself!
@Mex I doubt he paid for votes. fitted wardrobes He was clearly expecting to do much better than he did; the betting agencies had him down as a guaranteed qualifier in his semi. If everyone assumed he would make it, he wouldn’t really have the motivation to buy votes. He was riding a lot of momentum from last year (that promptly came to a halt after everyone eventually realized how bad “Natural” was) and I think it’s more likely he made it through the semi on name, looks, and dance alone . Honestly, the surprise qualifiers (include AC) would be my suspects.
Poor Ewald, lucky enough for him to get through to the final while I reckon fitted wardrobes many songs in Melodifestivalen that really deserved a place in the final rather than him. Just accept the fact that not only the juries didn’t like his song, but also the public as well.
I find this a bit hilarious because as far as I remember he was also placed last on the televoting (which kinda makes me wonder, why did he go through to the final in the first place?). But while he was smiling all happily for the cameras, Oscar Zia on the other hand was shown much more disturbed by his average score. Yet is Anton who is now blaming everybody and everything for his bad taste in music and his awful vocal performance. Way the go both Anton and Oscar … learn how to sing or find another job!
He claims that all the others are bitches sleepin with the juries but him? I used to be one of very few fans of him and now I can’t even hate him if this news is true. However, to be defeated in any competition doesn’t make you loser but such ugly claims really makes you a LOSER…
