The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, modern Environment and feeding and Barcelona Food Bank have signed an agreement to subsidize the transformation of fruit withdrawal by organizations modern of Fruit and Vegetable Producers of Catalonia (OPFH ) juices that are distributive gratutament among those most in need. The subvenci granted by the Government is 144,000 euros. The number of people who will benefit from this initiative is 136,000 approximately.
This is a project that the Food Bank has launched with the aim of significantly extending the period of use of the more perishable fruits and adapt delivery to organizations that depend on the Bank according to consumer needs and storage conditions of each.
