After Rocky Mountain, we headed for Mesa Verde, bauhaus katalog where the Indians in the 1200s built house in the mountains. It was really exciting to see how they had built homes to small communities in various mountain sides! Where we were, there were 20 to 30 rooms where people lived, as well as living with ventilation and bonfire that was built into the ground. Neat! They stayed there for about. 80 years, and it is believed that they moved because of drought. Great fun to watch, anyway!
In much of the forest as we drove by and from the Rocky Mountain, it was also incredibly many brown trees in between the green. We met a couple who told us that there was a beetle that made the trees dried and dead, and that only spread more and more, and was not going to stop. An ecological and economic disaster, read more here ... Bark beetle attacks
