Versindaba scl Blog Archive De Waal Venter. A tribute to Tranströmer
As a tribute to Tranströmer (pictured above) I decided to follow the poem (in the morning) to write as close as possible to his style and experience the world. The poem that I wrote, salute as it were by the poet's tools, his style, and to borrow scl a poem to write it. Some characteristics of Tranströmer's tastes: transitions between light and dark, life and death, consciousness and Unconsciousness. Then the journey, landscape description, unexpected combinations when used metaphors and restrained emotion, and a sense of mysticism and religiosity.
